COURTNEY HERMOSURA, Strength & Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer

With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Courtney brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to the MaxFit team. She holds a Certificate III & IV in Fitness, a Diploma of Fitness, and is qualified in both Reformer and Mat Pilates, as well as Pre and Post-Natal training. Throughout her career, Courtney has worked alongside doctors, physiotherapists, and chiropractors, helping clients safely progress through rehab, rebuild strength, and regain confidence after injury or surgery.

Courtney’s love of sport began early—gymnastics, athletics, swimming, and netball were all part of her upbringing. After finishing school, she turned her passion for training into a career, discovering how rewarding it is to help others improve their health and wellbeing.

These days, she focuses on long-distance running and strength training, with an emphasis on preventing injury and building resilience for endurance performance.

At MaxFit, Courtney is especially passionate about women’s health and empowering mums to reclaim their strength and self-worth through fitness. She believes that strength training is life-changing—helping women feel capable, confident, and proud of their progress both inside and outside the gym. For Courtney, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing her clients achieve goals they once thought were impossible.
