
MAX COVINGTON, Strength & Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer
Max Covington is a Strength & Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer at Maxfit, with a strong passion for helping people of all ages and abilities feel confident, capable, and supported in the gym.
He holds a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and is currently completing a Master of Physiotherapy, allowing him to combine practical coaching with an evidence-based, injury-aware approach to training.
Max takes pride in creating an inclusive training environment where everyone can participate, progress, and achieve their personal goals—whether that’s building strength, improving performance, or simply staying active and healthy. He is passionate about sharing his love for exercise and helping people move better, train smarter, and get the most out of every session.
After completing a university placement at Maxfit in March 2025, Max continued on with the team, now running strength and conditioning classes and working closely with clients to maximise results through structured, effective training.
With a lifelong passion for health and performance, Max loves helping people find their place in the gym while also pushing athletes to reach their full potential. While no longer playing representative basketball, you’ll often find him around the courts, training in the gym, or out on a run.
